I've been listening to Wilson Phillips's "Hold On" a lot, because I don't need much excuse to wax nostalgic about the '90s, and this song is really comforting.

It was also featured in the first Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle:



Which is eerily reminiscent of Tommy Boy:



Two dudes singing maudlin love songs in the car: not original, but still rather amusing each time. Eventually though, this will be an overused trope.

I don't think I can remember any other instances, though. Can you?
