Briefest Movie Reviews From Me Ever

I've seen a few movies recently, none of them super memorable:

1. 16 Blocks: Corrupt cop Bruce Willis tries to transport protected witness Mos Def to the courthouse to deliver testimony against other corrupt cops, showing that people can change. I love Mos Def, but he acts like he has a mild case of Tourette's here. Not a bad movie, but not a great movie.

2. August Rush: Worst movie ever. Robin Williams at his most annoying and creepy pedophile-like. Lame music-from-the-heart-saves-everything theme. But I love The Best Friend.

3. The Bank Job (in theaters now): Not the best British crime caper movie, although it is "based on a true story." A story that is lame, by today's standards. All that trouble for a few salacious pics of Royalty? Hrmph. Saffron Burrows is pretty hot. Jason Statham is a decent action hero, but an awful actor.
